Extended Life Battery Discontinued by Sony
Published by Yoshi on Aug 10th 2008 A spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment, Al de Leon has announced that the extended life battery kit for the PSP will be discontinued."Yes, we are discontinuing this product as we look for other opportunities to service the consumer," de Leon stated.
The extended life battery kit could give up to 12 hours of power to the PSP in just one charge. I personally used one of these batteries for a year and it made a huge difference to my PSP's battery life, it's a shame to see it go like this. Hopefully there will be another product released that can do as good a job in the future.
