Capcom Vow to Support PSP

Published by Yoshi on Aug 19th 2008 Recent rumours may say otherwise but, Capcom have stepped in to quell the rumors that they will no longer develop PSP games by claiming them as false.

Capcom spokesman Christian Svensson said:

"We're still making new PSP games. We may be the most successful PSP publisher in the world with Monster Hunter Portable 2nd and 2ndG. It'd be a difficult decision to defend stopping development when we have such success on the platform".

There isn't a lot planned for the near future when it comes to game releases from Capcom but, it's a quiet time for PSP game releases generally. Hopefully thats all about to change and hopefully Capcom will keep to their word.
